TRIVEX Study Presented at Charing Cross
Symposium
LEXINGTON, Mass. – April 8, 2009 -- InaVein,
LLC announced today that positive clinical data on its TRIVEX
System used for the removal of extensive varicose veins was presented
at the Charing Cross Symposium (Imperial College, London, UK)
on April 7th by Jennifer A. Heller, MD, FACS. The annual Charing
Cross Symposium is Europe’s longest running and leading
vascular surgery symposium with > 2,000 clinicians attending
from 71 countries. Dr. Heller, Assistant Professor of Surgery
and, Director and Chief of the Johns Hopkins Vein Center, Baltimore,
MD USA, presented her data using the TRIVEX System on 114 limbs
in 93 patients. All procedures were completed successfully with
no intraoperative complications. According to Dr. Heller: “This
experience demonstrates successful performance of powered phlebectomy
in an outpatient setting with excellent results”.
