InaVein Announces Publication of Largest
Patient Study
LEXINGTON, Mass. – May 15, 2009 -- InaVein,
LLC announced today that the largest study to date on its TRIVEX
System for the removal of extensive varicose veins will be published
in the May/June 2009 issue of the peer-reviewed journal Annals
of Vascular Surgery. Authored by Randall W. Franz, M.D. and Eric
D. Knapp, D.O. from the Vascular and Vein Center at Grant Medical
Center, Columbus, OH, the study of 339 patients over a six-year
period reports a mean operative time of 19.7 minutes, no recurrences
at 12 weeks post-op follow-up, and 99.7% of patients reporting
a good outcome and satisfaction with the procedure.
